Martin Schreck
Director of Product Supervision and EEA – Construction Product Regulation, harmonised standards and digital product passport
Martin Schreck is a German engineer educated at Dresden University of Technology and holds a PhD from Okayama University (Japan). With many years of experience across both industry and consulting, he has worked extensively in environmental engineering and the construction sector.
Since 2023, he has served as Specialist Director at the Norwegian Building Authority (DiBK), where he represents Norway in the CPR Acquis process linked to the new Construction Products Regulation (CPR 2024). Together with Norwegian expert groups, he helps ensure that harmonised European requirements reflect Norwegian regulatory needs and the priorities of the Norwegian construction materials industry.
In addition, Martin is Convenor of CEN/CLC JTC 24, where he leads cross-cutting strategic work on the Digital Product Passport (DPP) framework, including strategy, system architecture, and coordination across working groups.
Martin is 56 years old, married, and has two children. Outside work, he enjoys motorbike rides and music.
