Anette Andersson is a GS1 Data Quality Expert at ICA Sweden. She leads ICA’s work with GS1 standards and collaborates closely with GS1 Sweden to ensure consistent and reliable product information and traceability throughout the value chain. 

She is involved in ICA’s preparations for upcoming regulatory frameworks such as Digital Product Passports, PPWR and EUDR, where GS1 standards serve as an important foundation for compliant and structured information management. 

Anette also contributes to ICA’s ongoing work with future 2D barcodes, exploring how nextgeneration data carriers can support improved traceability, enriched product information, and evolving digital reporting needs. 

Through her combination of standardization expertise, regulatory involvement and data quality knowledge, she helps ensure that ICA is wellprepared for the new datadriven and regulationfocused product landscape.
